Dixie has been an invaluable asset to OC Public Libraries for two years, consistently demonstrating a positive attitude, flexibility, and creativity. Dixie provides excellent customer service and is passionate about Reader's Advisory, as reflected in her thorough Rita Recommends submission replies. Her dedication and passion for library programming have significantly contributed to our branch programs, including leading an Adult Book Club, teen programs, and volunteer orientations and coordinating an author talk with Chris Epting and Joey Spiotto for the Comic Orange committee. Dixie's creative and innovative ideas, such as Croc Charms, Neon Signs, and Disco Ball Art, have greatly enriched our teen programs. Her social media posts, such as "2023 Libby Checkouts" and "Taylor Swift's New Album Song Read-A-likes," have received praise from both patrons and staff. Additionally, she consistently goes the extra mile to create unique and original decorations for our branch programs, further enhancing the experience for our patrons. Dixie's exceptional service, support for staff, and outstanding creativity make her an indispensable member of our team.
