First Five Orange County First 5 Orange County partners with many organizations working towards creating and maintaining an early childhood system that families experience as a seamless network of care.

Families and Communities Together: Families and Communities Together (FaCT) is a network of Family Resource Centers (FRCs) located throughout Orange County’s highest-risk communities providing essential family support services, education, and resources.

Help Me Grow: Help Me Grow connects children and their families to developmental services to enhance the development, behavior and learning of children birth through eight years.

Kindergarten in California: Guidance material designed to address several public school kindergarten issues.

OC Health Care Agency: The Division of Family Health promotes the health and well-being of all infants (babies), children, parents, and families in Orange County. Family Health includes the family health and dental clinics and offers vaccinations (shots), nutrition, and prenatal service.

Orange County Head Start Orange County Head Start, Inc. strives to create a rich environment where the child and family needs are addressed and are supportive of family well-being. Our comprehensive support services are offered to all children and families in our Head Start programs. These services include dental and medical health, mental health, nutrition, education, family services, and supporting children and families with special needs.

Pretend City Ages and Stages Questionnaire: Pretend City’s Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) screens and pinpoints the developmental progress of children in the areas of communication, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, problem solving, and personal-social skills. It is used to by early educators and health care professionals to celebrate development milestones and identify delays.

Regional Center of Orange County Early Start Infants and toddlers (age 0 to 36 months) who are at risk of having developmental disabilities or who have a developmental delay may qualify for services. In addition, individuals at risk of having a child with a developmental disability may be eligible for genetic diagnosis, counseling, and other prevention services. 

Services for Family with Young Children assists families in Orange County with children ages 0-8, in reducing barriers to medical care and early childhood mental health services in order to provide them with the healthiest start in life.

Smile Habits OC Kindergarten Oral Health Assessment is a dental screening for children entering school. The KOHA is an assessment tool to see if there are any signs of tooth decay. It helps identify children with untreated dental disease and helps parents find a dental home for their children.
