Did you know in Orange County, older adults (aged 65+) make up over half a million of our total population?
According to the Orange County Office on Aging’s Area Plan, this older adult population is the “only age group that is projected to grow as all others shrink proportionately.” With this in mind, OC Public Libraries, with many other organizations across the County and the nation, are celebrating Older Americans Month in May.
Show your appreciation to the older adults in our communities or to yourself by participating in the free events below, hosted by OC Public Libraries’ Senior Services Committee and funded in part through a grant from the California Department of Aging, as allocated by the Orange County Board of Supervisors.
