BORROWING POLICY
All patrons must show their library card when checking out items
and when requesting use of reference materials.

• 50 total Items per Card: Books, Audiocassettes, DVDs, Videos, Best Sellers, Rental Best

• 5 each per Card: Non-fiction DVDs, Entertainment DVDs, Non-Fiction Videos, Entertainment
Videos, CDs, CD-ROMS & Audio Books

RENTAL BEST SELLERS
• Rentals are $1.50 in advance for the first week or a portion thereof, plus 25¢ per day thereafter
RENEWALS
• Three week loan period items may be renewed twice if there are no holds on those items
• Best Sellers, Entertainment Videos, Entertainment DVDs, & Magazines may not be renewed
OVERDUE FINES
• Fines accumulate daily, including days the library is closed
• Book Drops are available when the library is closed
• All Materials—25¢ per item per day, up to a per-item-maximum of:
− $10 for Books, Audiocassettes, CDs, DVDs, CD-ROMS, Audio Books, & Videos
− $ 5 for Paperback Books
− $ 3 for Magazines & Pamphlets
FEES
• Damaged Items—$1 and up, to cost of the item, plus $5 non-refundable processing fee
• Lost Items—Cost of item, plus $5 non-refundable processing fee and any fines that have
accrued
• Found Materials Refund Handling Charge—$2
OTHER CHARGES
• Lost Library Card Replacement Charge $2
• Holds/Requests 25¢ each
• Inter-Branch Fax Fee 15¢ per page
• Charge for returned checks $25
− Charge for each subsequent check $35
PLEASE NOTE:
♦ Past due accounts may be listed with credit reporting agencies
♦ No Collection fee will be added to accounts of $25—34.99
♦ A $5 collection fee may be added to accounts of $35–49.99
♦ A $15 collection fee may be added toaccounts of $50 or more
