- Supervises affairs of the Council between meetings and makes recommendations to the Council
- Coordinates the Evaluation of the Administrative Mechanism (EAM)
- Establishes ad-hoc committees, subcommittees, or task forces, as needed

Orange County HIV Planning Council  Policies and Procedures III Executive Committee | Membership CommitteeResponsibilities: - Ensures an open nominations process for the Council
- Conducts ongoing recruitment for membership on the Council
- Reviews and recommends members to the Council
- Monitors Council member attendance
- Manages Council Affiliate Program

Orange County HIV Planning Council  Policies and Procedures II Membership Committee & Planning Council Open Nominations Process | Priority Setting, Allocations, and Planning (PSAP) CommitteeResponsibilities: - Conducts needs assessments and reviews data as they relate to the planning process
- Acts as a year round planning body and makes recommends priorities and funding allocations to the Council

Orange County HIV Planning Council  Policies and Procedures VI Priority Setting, Allocations, and Planning Committee | HIV Client Advocacy Committee (HCAC)Responsibilities: - Members are persons living with HIV/AIDS
- Represents and identifies the needs of diverse HIV-infected communities
- Assists in the development and recruitment of PLWHD for Council and committee membership
- Works closely with the Council and its committees to assess gaps in services to PLWHD and to recommend strategies to fill those gaps
- Participates in the design and implementation of surveys or focus groups

Orange County HIV Planning Council  Policies and Procedures IV HIV Client Advocacy Committee | Housing Committee
Please note that the Housing Committee is no longer a Planning Council Committee.
Responsibilities: - Provides updates regarding the accessibility to housing and related services for the diverse HIV-infected communities in Orange County
- Reviews reports on housing services
- Provides a forum for exchange of information regarding housing services

HIV Prevention Planning Committee (PPC)Responsibilities: - Develops strategies to increase knowledge and awareness of HIV/AIDS in the community
- Recommends prevention service priorities and funding allocations
- Identifies unmet prevention needs
- Provides a forum for exchange of information
 - Reviews and recommends Early Identification of Individuals with HIV/AIDS (EIIHA) strategies

- Time: 2:30pm
- Location: 1400 S. Grand Ave, Santa Ana. at the County of Orange Data Center (Main Conference Room)
* Quarterly meetings are held at 6:00 pm at 1725 W. 17th Street, Santa Ana in the Public Health Services Training Center (1729E). Dinner is provided.
