Eye on Influenza The percent of outpatient visits to sentinel providers for influenza-like illness (ILI) has tripled in the last week (currently at 6.4%) and several outbreaks of influenza and ILI have been reported in congregate settings, such as long term care facilities (LTCF) and schools. Health care professionals should encourage all patients 6 months and older who have not yet received an influenza vaccine this season to be vaccinated against influenza.
